Muntinlupa City is taking disaster preparedness to the next level by actively searching for the best-equipped barangay to deal with

Barangay Sucat emerged on top of the first-ever Search for Most Resilient Barangay in Muntinlupa, with the winners announced on October 2 by the city’s Department of Disaster Resilience and Management .

Biazon led city officials in recognizing Sucat, which also received additional special citations on best practices for using household electronic ID, utilizing a barangay-wide early warning system, and having a fully operational Operations Center. Aside from Sucat, other barangays in Muntinlupa also received significant awards, namely Poblacion ; Putatan ; and Bayanan .
