Dia ditahan polis kerana menyebabkan kemalangan yang mengorbankan seorang lelaki di Kilometer 4 Jalan Johor Bahru - Kota Tinggi di sini.
Ketua Polis Daerah Johor Bahru Selatan, Asisten Komisioner Mohd Padzli Mohd Zain berkata, pemandu itu setakat ini disiasat mengikut Seksyen 41 Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 dan Seksyen 15 Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952. Dalam kejadian 9 pagi itu, Mohd Rizal Buseri, 31, yang juga anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia meninggal dunia selepas Honda Accord dipandu dirempuh Perodua Myvi yang hilang kawalan.
