kualalumpurKEMENTERIAN Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) memaklumkan terdapat satu lagi kes baharu Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) yang dilaporkan dikesan hari ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes COVID-19 yang dilaporkan setakat ini adalah sebanyak 19 kes.

Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Malaysia, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, kes ke-19 membabitkan seorang wanita warganegara China berumur 39 tahun yang juga rakan kepada pesakit kes-14 dan anak kepada kes-16.“Mangsa terbaru bersama-sama empat individu yang lain tiba di Malaysia dari Wuhan, China pada 25 Januari 2020.

“Wanita itu kemudian dirujuk ke HKL untuk dimasukkan ke wad bagi menerima rawatan dan siasatan selanjutnya. “Ujian pengesanan dan pengesahan COVID-19 yang dijalankan ke atasnya dilaporkan positif pada hari yang sama. Dia kini dimasukkan ke wad isolasi di HKL dan berada dalam keadaan stabil,” katanya.

Menurutnya, daripada jumlah itu, 13 kes membabitkan warganegara China dan enam adalah warga Malaysia. “Pasukan ini memberikan perkhidmatan sokongan psikososial kepada individu-individu yang diletakkan di bawah Perintah Pemantauan, kepada Petugas KKM dan agensi-agensi lain yang turut sama terbabit.
