Ms Yang Qiuxia has been in Singapore for more than 10 years – with lots to show for it.
The 44-year-old, who hails from Henan, China, has three children and is the proud owner of three bustling food stalls., Yang's experience in the food industry stemmed from being a delivery personnel and courier during the Covid-19 pandemic's circuit breaker period.
As the pandemic became the new norm, Yang came up with the idea of opening her own stall and decided to start by selling satay. She added:"Besides having to stand for more than 10 hours every day, I also had to do inventory after closing and washing the stall."
