After keeping mum since the alleged khalwat controversy was reported last month, Ruhainies issued a statement on her Instagram this morning (April 26).
Retiree Lim Sook Fun, aged 64, tearfully spoke to a press conference called by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong at Wisma MCA here on Friday .
Lim said she had had enough of her son’s stubbornness after partially paying off his alleged debts twice before, last year and in 2022, to the tune of RM70,000."I have given him so many chances but he refuses to change," she claimed as she broke down in tears. Despite explaining to loan sharks that she had no contact with her eldest son, 40-year-old Liu Yong Zhi, for months, the harassment continued, she said.
The most recent incident occurred on Sunday when loan sharks threw red paint at her house and neighbouring ones in Taman Intan Baiduri here."I don’t even know how much he owes. There could even be multiple groups that he borrowed from," she claimed.
