Southwest, Delta among major airlines reporting system-wide outage

Multiple airlines on Monday were experiencing system-wide outages, according to social media posts by delayed passengers, with at least two carriers, Southwest LUV, +2.89% and Delta Air Lines DAL, +2.64% confirming the issues in replies to passengers. The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement the airlines were experiencing issues "with a flight planning weight and balance program called Aerodata. Mainline operations and regional operations are impacted to varying degrees.
