Mujahid: Dr M 'unpredictable', but won't bow to PAS, Umno

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is"unpredictable," said Amanah vice-president Mujahid Yusof amid speculation that there will be a PAS-Umno-Bersatu tie-up." after joining forces to bring a new Malaysia in the last general election.

Mujahid also dismissed the alleged cooperation rumours as an opposition gimmick meant to make Harapan lose faith in Mahathir. On Monday, Umno supreme council member Lokman Adam released an audio recording claiming that Zahid had tried to convince party leaders during a Jawatankuasa Perhimpunan Muafakat Nasional Umno meeting that the opposition party needed to work with Mahathir.
