PONTIAN: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has urged voters in Tanjung Piai to vote wisely and pick a candidate that is able to continue to develop the area.
"However, if they wrongly choose, then the next three and a half years will be a long time, where problems would not be solved if the wakil rakyat comes from the opposition," added the Pakatan Harapan election director. Among the Pakatan leaders who attended the ceramah included Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, DAP secretary general Lim Guan Eng, and Parti Amanah Negara president Mohamad Sabu.
Muhyiddin also said that Pakatan would also focus on several issues in Tanjung Piai, such as the cost of living, employment, health and tourism to help improve the rakyat's wellbeing.
