PETALING JAYA: The government should declare the six Parliament and one state seat held by alleged Perikatan Nasional"turncoats" vacant, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The Perikatan chairman said the mandate should be returned to the people to make a decision after Perikatan representatives who were chosen by the people in the 15th General Election in 2022 betrayed the party by supporting the government. Bersatu elected representatives who have thrown their support behind Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim are Datuk Zulkafperi Hanapi , Datuk Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal , Zahari Kechik , Mohd Azizi Abu Naim , Datuk Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid and Datuk Suhaipi Abdul Rahman .
However, on March 6, Selat Klang assemblyman Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari declared his support for Selangor Mentri Besar, Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari.
