PUTRAJAYA: The Home Ministry has fulfilled 63% of Pakatan Harapan's manifesto pledges in the first year of administration, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The Home Minister said this was based on 19 initiatives listed under his ministry, including reducing crime incidents, action against illegal foreigners, approval of citizenship and upholding integrity and transparency.

On May 9 while addressing the nation in conjunction with Pakatan's first year as government, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said 39% of Pakatan's manifesto initiatives, measured against 464 initiatives, had been fulfilled. "Public hearing is currently ongoing and a full report will be submitted to the government once investigation is completed," said Muhyiddin.
