JOHOR BARU: Muda's sole representative in the Johor state assembly, Puteri Wangsa assemblyman Amira Aisya Abd Aziz, will no longer be within the Pakatan Harapan bloc, says state chief balancing force Andrew Chen Kah Eng.
The Stulang assemblyman, who is also the state DAP secretary, added that this was due to Muda deciding to withdraw its support for the unity government.
“Muda had also put its candidates to go against Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional’s candidates during the Aug 12 six state elections,” he said here on Monday . “With Muda deciding to withdraw from the unity government and being unfriendly with the unity government, then automatically, its assemblyman will no longer be within Pakatan’s bloc in Johor state assembly,” he said.
On Sunday , Muda dropped a bombshell by deciding to pull out of the unity government but pledged to support Bills which require a two-thirds majority in the Dewan Rakyat.
