JOHOR BARU: Muafakat Nasional, which consists of Barisan Nasional component parties with PAS, is one big happy family that will see them wrest Johor from Pakatan Harapan, says Datuk Hasni Mohamad.
The state Barisan chief said since Umno and PAS have officially started cooperating, it has made the Barisan family bigger.“The Tanjung Piai by-election is a good example where through our cooperation with PAS, we were able to win the parliamentary seat back.
The dinner was attended by Johor MCA chairman Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, state MIC chairman R. Vidyanathan, PAS vice-president and Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and state PAS commissioner Hussin Abdullah. He added that he remembered Pakatan’s claim that MCA would not be given the seat as Muafakat Nasional was meant for one particular race and religion.
