MTUC secretary-general J. Solomon, when contacted today, said he had not received any letter from the RoS.
“Let me investigate this. I am trying to get in touch with RoS to check if there is such a letter,” he said. Meanwhile, MTUC deputy president Jaafar Majid who was also clueless about the letter said any letter to the congress would be issued to either the president or secretary-general.An image of the letter, allegedly issued from RoS Selangor to the congress, has been making its rounds on WhatsApp.
“Therefore, it is ordered that all activities by the organisation as named above, with the exception of replying to Notice 13 is suspended effective from the date of this letter’s issuance," the letter read.
