KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) will be promoting made-in-Malaysia halal gloves at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2022, alongside other agricommodity agencies under the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC).

In a statement today, MRC said the agricommodity sectors will be showcasing the development and production of quality as well as competitive products in sustainable ways that coincide with the halal concept.

"Amongst the products that MRC will be promoting under halal gloves category are medical gloves, disposable gloves, and food handling gloves, which comply to stringent international standards with high-quality consistency and competitively priced,” it said. MRC chief executive officer Nor Hizwan Ahmad said he is looking forward to the active participation from all exhibitors and trade visitors across the globe at MIHAS 2022 to steer initiatives and actions to enhance the global halal economy. - Bernama
