Despite reports of poor working conditions during production, MrBeast claims that behind-the-scenes footage will clarify that the allegations were exaggerated.
A teaser for the upcoming show, Beast Games, was shared by Donaldson on November 25, revealing set pieces such as pirate ships, monster trucks, and helicopters—elements reminiscent of the elaborate stunts that first made him famous on YouTube. The show reportedly features 1,000 contestants competing for a grand prize of $5,000,000. However, the production has faced accusations of unsafe working conditions and chaos, similar to the Fyre Festival, following investigations by The New York Times and Rolling Stone. Five anonymous contestants have filed a lawsuit against Donaldson and Amazon, alleging inadequate food, sleep, medical attention, and hygiene facilities.
