United Democratic Alliance founder Syed Saddiq has come under scrutiny after spending significant time with local celebrity Bella Astillah, leading to calls for him to prioritise his political responsibilities.
“You want to hang out with celebrities, not a problem. But you have to set a good example through your social media, and show that we’re paid to help the people at a full capacity.” While Syed has yet to directly respond to Syarleena’s remarks, he shared on Facebook that he had returned for the First Term of the 2025 Parliamentary Session, which began on February 3 and will run until March 6, according to Parliament’s official website.
