JOHOR BARU: Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim has called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to conduct a professional and ethical investigation into former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, expressing concerns over the agency’s handling of the case.

He questioned why evidence related to the case was publicly disclosed before the investigation was concluded."However, in this case, despite the probe being incomplete, key materials have already been exhibited in a press conference. What is the purpose of this?” he said. While reaffirming his full support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s anti-corruption agenda, Hassan stressed the need for MACC to remain within its professional and legal boundaries.
