Parti Gagasan Rakyat veep Patrick Chong says Moyog could be better served by people who are dedicated following Jenifer Lasimbang’s decision to ‘close’ her service centre, but Lasimbang now says she is merely revamping her service centre.
KOTA KINABALU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat said Moyog assemblywoman Jenifer Lasimbang should resign if she cannot stand the heat.
In the same message Lasimbang said she was allowing her staff to go on leave, adding: “My plan to close down the office has nothing to do with my disappointment with my staff for having shown a lack of moral support.” Chong said today the service centre for the Moyog state constituency was an important contact point for the people.
Chong said if the first-term assemblywoman could not cope with the job, especially as she was also an assistant minister, it would be better for her to resign the post.
