TOP Umno leaders had gathered to work out a deal to get rid of Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as party president as early as 2020, according to Tajuddin Abdul Rahman. The Pasir Salak MP said among the leaders present at the meeting held at his house in May 2020 were former prime minister Najib Razak, Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan and Umno vice-president Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
