PETALING JAYA: The rubber glove industry will do its best to ensure there is adequate supply of medical gloves to help combat the spread of the novel coronavirus, says the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association.
Its president Denis Low said China was requesting more urgent shipment, adding that association members were ramping up production to meet the request from China.
“In many other parts of the world, there is a heightened cautiousness and healthcare officials are demanding for sufficient medicines and protective devices such as medical gloves to be made available in order to counter the spread of the virus. “We believe that demand for gloves will inevitably shoot up and we have urged members to give priority to those affected places.Article type: free
