Economists split on RBA’s next move: Some predict hold, others foresee cash rate riseAccording to business reporter Edward Boyd, some economists believe there is a small chance the RBA will hold rates next week, and many economists anticipate at least one or two more cash rate hikes for Australia's economy. “Before the retail sales numbers came out, the market or money markets were pricing the cash rate to peak at 3.8 per cent,” Mr Boyd said. “As soon as the numbers came out from the ABS, that went down 3.7 per cent peak.”
