A motorcyclist died late last month after colliding with a vehicle that pulled into his path on Route 530 in Berkeley Township, police said.
Daniel Wisnewski died at the scene of the Aug. 30 crash after several attempts to revive him with CPR by police officers, Berkeley EMS and paramedics from the Robert Wood Johnson health system, Berkeley Township police said.He was heading east on the road, called Pinewald-Keswick Road locally, at about 5:10 p.m. when a Hyundai Tuscon entered the road from a parking lot and attempted to drive west, Berkeley police said.
The Hyundai driver, a 73-year-old Whiting man, was later issued traffic tickets for careless driving and making an improper turn, police said.said, “While he often kept to himself, he loved a close-knit social gathering with friends and family, game night, rock and roll, the occasional outdoor adventure, and a side of adrenaline. He loved to ride his motorcycle. He was fully stocked with sarcastic comments and loved a good laugh.
