Siti Fairuz was also chosen as the best trainee sergeant among her batch of recruits, an honour she did not expect. "Honestly, I didn't set any target when I joined basic police training but it is a wonderful surprise to be named the best overall trainee," she said after the graduation ceremony at the Police Training Centre here on Friday ."However, I am grateful that my sacrifice and the commitment I put into my training – were not in vain," she said.
