This comes as Labour’s deputy leader Tom Watson has come under fire for trying to push the party towards a second referendum. Labour and Jeremy Corbyn have been accused of failing to face its divisions, with many MPs and members hitting out at the party’s unclear position on Brexit. Just as Labour tries to figure out if it wants a second public vote or not, another poll has suggested Conservative members would be prepared to sacrifice the union, destroy their party or suffer economic damage to get the UK out of the EU.
