Sekalipun Moss tidak pernah memenangi kejuaraan dunia Formula Satu , dia dianggap antara salah seorang pemandu sukan permotoran hebat ketika zaman perlumbaan sekitar 1950s dengan menyertai pelbagai perlumbaan.
Hamilton, 35, juara dunia enam kali menjadi rakan kepada Moss sekali pun jarak usia mereka dan latar belakang berbeza. “Hari ini kita mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada Sir Stirling Moss, legenda perlumbaan,” tulis Hamilton di Instagram. “Saya pastinya akan merindui perbincangan kami. Secara jujur, persahabatan kami ia adalah gandingan yang luar biasa.
