Israel launches limited ground raids in GazaPrime Minister Anthony Albanese says a new $5 billion deal will see Microsoft partner with Australia's cyber spy agency to boost Australian cybersecurity, cloud computing and artificial intelligence capabilities.
In the United States for a four-day visit, Mr Albanese says the investment in the skills and workers of the future would help Australia to strengthen its position as a world-leading economy.Israel's military has massed forces near Gaza's border and vowed to wipe out Hamas after it attacked Israel on October 7.
It comes as 1.4 million people are now internally displaced, with many seeking refuge in overcrowded UN shelters. That finding goes against statements by officials in Hamas-ruled Gaza blaming it on an Israeli airstrike.
