SYDNEY: The Australian dollar remained on the defensive on Wednesday after local inflation data proved too mixed to offer much support, with market pricing on interest rates little changed.
KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow on several major highways has been reported as under control, although the number of vehicles has increased as of 9am Wednesday ahead of the the Deepavali celebrations tomorrow.
There is also an increase in traffic from Bidor to Tapah; Tapah to Gopeng; and Seberang Jaya to Perai; according to the spokesman. Meanwhile, on the Damansara Puchong Expressway northbound, traffic is increasingly heavy from Puchong Utama to Puchong Intan; the PJS Toll Plaza to the Cable Bridge; Kelana Jaya to SS2; and Penchala Toll Plaza to Taman Tun Dr Ismail .
"There was an accident reported this morning at KM86.1 towards Kuantan , with the right lane blocked at around 7.30am.
