Pertemuan itu bagi memberi penjelasan mengenai isu tafsiran al-Quran membabitkan Ahli Jawatankuasa Tertinggi Pusat (CEC) DAP itu ketika ini.
PUTRAJAYA: Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri , Datuk Dr. Mohd. Naim Mokhtar akan bertemu dengan Ahli Parlimen Ipoh Timur, Howard Lee dalam masa terdekat.
Pada masa sama, Mohd Na’im berkata, beliau turut menggalakkan Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia untuk kerap mengadakan sesi libat urus dengan orang bukan Islam di negara ini. Dalam perkembangan sama, Mohd Na’im juga mahu mufti-mufti di setiap negeri memainkan peranan utama dalam isu berkenaan kerana ia membabitkan soal hukum.
