Inflation could hit 9% — and prices increases would have been 'partially avoidable' if the Fed had acted sooner, top economist says
"I think you've got to be very modest about what we know about this inflation process," El-Erian toldIn April, price increases, but El-Erian said he never had hopes that inflation had peaked or that it was"transitory, meaning temporary and quickly," he told CBS.
