MOH looking into staff shortage
Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa says the ministry is very concerned over the ministry’s staff shortage, and prompt action will be taken. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 3, 2023.
“The issue of staff shortage does not involve only one hospital. We know there is a shortage, but it is being studied, and we have also mapped the staff’s needs. Prior to this, the Johor Health Department reportedly faced a shortage of 2,800 healthcare workers, especially doctors and nurses.
