MOF considers building govt-sponsored houses for flood victims

Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan said those whose houses were completely destroyed by the floods can apply for the housing programme under the SPNB. “For example, like in previous years, flood victims who lost their houses due to floods in Kampung La have applied for the Rumah Mesra Rakyat assistance and they were helped by local community leaders,” he told reporters after handing over aid to 200 flood victims at SK Kampung La in Hulu Besut near Jertih today.
