On Wednesday night, the festivities began uptown on a snow-dusted Madison Avenue, where Moda Operandi’s showroom was filled with holiday spirit. Adorned with feathers, garlands, and sparkles of all varieties, the cozy space filled up with the friends and fans of jeweler Irene Neuwirth.
The red carpet favorite celebrated her Moda residency, which features hundreds of her delightful pieces. The colorful creations combine the whimsy of costume trinkets with the materials of high jewelry. When asked about her process, Neuwirth confessed that she struggles to think about her work in terms of “collections.”Afterward, guests descended downtown for an intimate dinner at Il Fiorista.
