Mobile police arrested six suspects this week and charged them with murder in the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy in February.
The latest arrest in the case occurred Thursday, when 20-year-old Sidney Collins was charged with murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling and shooting into an unoccupied vehicle, according to Cpl. Katrina Frazier.the victim as Daniel Blackmon. Daniel was in front of a home in the 2600 block of Cheshire Drive South on the night of Feb. 15 when a vehicle pulled up and fired multiple shots.Three suspects, also arrested this week, face the same charges as Collins: 22-year-old Kelvin Estell, Jr.; 18-year-old Ryan Kidd; and 19-year-old Deonte Kimbrough.
