The Disney star, who appears in a new sci-fi series for Amazon Prime, walked the red carpet with a bold makeup look in support of Indigenous women.

Auliʻi Cravalho showed her support for Indigenous women and girls while walking the red carpet last night.

“I’m grateful to wear Naeem Khan as a dress, and I’m also representing No More Stolen sisters, and bringing light to murdered and Indigenous women,” CravalhoThe “Crush” star — who wore her hair in a loose bun at the nape of her neck with plenty of curls hanging out — added that her time working in Canada inspired the look.

“We were lucky enough to be filming in Vancouver for ‘The Power,’ and I saw many a monument about it, and I’m so grateful to be working on a film based on female empowerment,” she said, adding, “I felt like I had to put my money where my mouth was.”She wore a simple gold necklace with her low-cut gown.In the sci-fi series, Cravalho and a group of teenage girls find themselves with the power to electrocute people at will, a quality that the actress told ET she found “groundbreaking.

“For me, watching this and creating this project really made me wish that I had the power,” she said. “I didn’t realize how often I acted or didn’t act due to internalized fear of not being strong enough. And I think that the power really does change everything. It’s groundbreaking.”
