PETALING JAYA: Shuttlers Cheah Liek Hou and Fareez Anuar have both qualified for the men's singles SU5 (upper body impairment) semi-finals of the Paris Paralympics with one match to spare.
PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency unveiled six variations of its uniforms to the public for the first time as part of the 67th National Day celebration.
"This also provides a clearer understanding of MMEA’s role in safeguarding our maritime security," he told Bernama. The Benteng 1 boats, utilised during the"Ops Benteng" to prevent illegal migrant entry, are Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats assigned to the agency's special operations unit. The 12.5m-long boats, capable of reaching speeds up to 60 knots, are designated for the elite Special Action Team.
He said that this year's assets were more advanced than those of the previous year, reflecting Malaysia's maritime agility and bolstering public confidence in MMEA's ability to perform its duties, particularly in national waters.
