SINGAPORE: Japan’s government is planning to introduce a screening system which will require visitors from visa-exempt regions and countries – including those from Singapore – to declare certain personal information before entering the country.

Ahmad Faridi, Wei and Hasbullah with the participants for the first-ever Mandarin communication skills course held by the MMEA .

The agency is now incorporating Mandarin language training into its professional development programmes as part of its efforts to learn the major languages in the region. The five-day event, which started on August 19, was held at the Royal Malaysian Customs Academy in Manggatal, near here. MMEA crime investigation division director First Admiral Ahmad Faridi Ferdaus launched it.MMEA officers fully engaged in the training session.
