MMC to act against doctors caught supporting anti-vaxxers

The health minister says the government will continue to hold dialogue with group opposing vaccination.

The health ministry is monitoring the development of the anti-vaccine group, says minister Dzulkefly Ahmad.

He said the matter is under the purview of the MMC but the health ministry is monitoring the development of the group. Asked for the number of doctors detected by the ministry supporting the anti-vaccine movement, Dzulkefly said the ministry did not keep count. On the ministry’s proposal for mandatory vaccination for infants and children, he said it was at the final stage before presentation to the Cabinet.
