, country boy and former Calvin Klein model Mitchell Slaggert is taking us back to North Carolina, the place where it all began.“Growing up, my father and I would take the canoe out for ten hours. When we were shooting[Slaggert’s first film], we were canoeing up and down the river and you needed to be really good in a canoe because there’s big wind gusts, and if you get blown to shore you could spook an alligator.
One day I was washing my car, and Daniel Peddle [the director of Moss] tapped me on my shoulder and said, ‘Do you want to model?’ I was like, ‘Thank you, no thank you. I’m good.’ Long story short, he convinced me to do it. I went to New York two weeks later and then two weeks after that, I’m flying to Milan to do the Calvin Klein runway.”, we’d often go back to this bar, drink, and go over what we learned that day. It has a really cool ambiance. I’ve never seen another bar like it.
