Missionary Work: Giving alms to the poor

The youth ministry from the Church of St John Marie Vianney continued their Missionary Sunday. For the Third Week of Lent, their theme focused on “Giving Alms to the Poor”.

For this mission, the ministry opted to collect pre-loved clothes from the youth to be given to the needy in the parish. Extra clothes will be distributed to the indigenous people and to a charitable organisation. This missionary Sunday taught us on the importance of clothing the naked and gained insight into the plight of those who are suffering greatly.
