A woman who went missing last January was found dead by members of the Quezon City Police District in Tanay, Rizal on Saturday, Feb. 11.According to the police, the Gomez’s brother-in-law reported to them on Jan. 15, that the victim was missing.
It added that Gomez was last seen on board on taxi cab going to Mayon, Quezon City at around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 14, to fetch a relative before heading to Pangasinan. Police received a report from a concerned citizen that the body of a dead woman was found along Marilaque Highway, Brgy. Cayumbay, Tanay, Rizal at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The QCPD said that members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit immediately responded to the area to verify the report.The incident is still under investigation, police said.
