A missing indigenous person alert has been issued for a woman who was last seen in Lakewood.
Alexis “Lexi” Layla Brownotter, 27, was last seen at about noon Feb. 7 in the area of 985 Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, according to the alert issued Friday by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
Brownotter is 5’3″ tall and weighs 114 pounds, the alert said. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a heavy black jacket, blue jeans, black boots and hoop earrings. She is a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. Anyone who has seen Brownotter, or who knows of her whereabouts, is asked to call Lakewood police at 303-987-7111, or to call 911.
