Missing Houston homeowner found fatally shot after nearly weeklong search, police say
Police identified James Gerald Martin III, 37, as a man discovered dead Wednesday, the department said in a tweet Saturday.Houston Police Department
Although Martin was not charged with a crime, police were looking for him in connection a murder that occurred Jan. 27 in the 1700 block of W T C Jester. Before requesting Martin's whereabouts on Jan. 29, police asked the public to help find a 2022 white Dodge Ram pickup truck with Oregon license plate 915LP. This vehicle was stolen or taken after the fatal shooting, police said.
