Mark your calendars, pageant fans: the next Miss Universe Philippines queen will be crowned in May! 👑
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced that the country's next bet to the Miss Universe pageant will be selected on May 13 — with the coronation night set at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Forty candidates are in the running for the coveted crown, which was won last year by Celeste Cortesi. Two other titles — which have yet to be announced — are also at stake during the event, the organizers previously said.The pageant’s grand winner will head to El Salvador later this year for a chance to bring home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown.
