Just like pageant fans, Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip was"surprised" that contenders usually included in the competition's top 16, namely the Philippines and Thailand, didn't reach the semifinals this year.with Pinay skincare expert Olivia Quido, who was one of the selection committee during the 2022 edition of the competition.
"I'm surprised, but I'm not shocked by the quality or the high standard of the judges. I think we have the good curriculum for judging... that's why I'm not shocked but usually [Philippines and Thailand] get in," the owner said.
