PADA Pilihan Raya Umum Ke-15 (PRU15) lalu, buat pertama kali dalam sejarah, tiada parti memperoleh majoriti mudah bagi membentuk kerajaan negeri di Pahang. Barisan Nasional (BN) dan Perikatan Nasional (PN) masing-masing menang 17 kerusi dan Pakatan Harapan (PH) lapan. Akhirnya kerajaan negeri dibentuk menerusi kerjasama BN-PH.
