Fire crews were called to a Longtown property yesterday (June 27) after receiving reports of a young dog with its head stuck in a wall
We all know how playful dogs are, especially young ones they're always getting into places they should.
Well, one Cumbrian pup definitely bit off a little more than she could chew when her owners found her head poking through the wall. Fire crews were called to a Longtown property yesterday after receiving reports of a young dog who had come off second best in a confrontation with a house. When they arrived, they found a mischievous four-month-old Labrador, called Teale, with her head firmly stuck. The curious dog had poked her head through the extractor vent for a tumble dryer and was left feeling very sorry for herself.Train lines closed between Lancaster and Oxenholme after person found dead on tracks
Fortunately, crews were able to get Teale free without using too much fuss. Small tools meant that firefighters were able to get the dog free without causing too much ordeal.
