CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PNA) – A municipal councilor was wounded but survived an attempt to kill him in front of his residence in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.
Police Major Joanne Navarro, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office-10 , said Councilor Hermil Valledor, 45, is in stable condition after sustaining injuries when shot by a still-unidentified gunman.
In a report, Police Major Renz Marion Serrano, chief of the Villanueva police station, said Valledor sustained wounds on his right cheekbones after the attack in Barangay Lourdes Imelda on Sunday night, November 5.
