Miri youth Day returns after 18 years

Some 500 youth from the Diocese of Miri gathered at the Church of Mater Dei , Lutong for the Miri Youth Day 2022 from November 25 to 27.

Bishop Richard Ng celebrated the Opening Mass after 14 parishes walked in procession into the church and he officially launched the event held after an 18-year hiatus. The last gathering was in 2004 at the Tatau parish. MYD2022 started with a campfire and a sing-a-long session. On the second day, participants listened to sessions by Christeens and MYD2022 coordinator Anysia, who shared on the theme, Mary arose and went with haste Luke 1:39.
