THE Water, Land and Natural Resources Ministry will speed up the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Indonesia to “bring back” the Sumatran rhinoceros in Malaysia. Minister Xavier Jayakumar, in a statement yesterday, said the MoU will allow the eggs of Iman, Malaysia’s last Sumatran rhino that died on Saturday, to be fertilised with the sperm of a rhino from Indonesia.
