A surprise visit by the Ministry of Health (KKM) led to the sudden closure of a well-known Korean restaurant in a Kuala Lumpur mall. The incident was captured by a netizen who was about to dine at the restaurant and witnessed the closure notice being posted right after he placed his order.
A netizen recently shared on X about a surprise visit by the Ministry of Health to a famous Korean eatery in a Kuala Lumpur mall.
According to the post, he mentioned how he and his friends were about to dine there when KKM suddenly showed up for an inspection. The user added that he had just arrived and placed his order when, out of nowhere, KKM slapped a closure notice right at the counter for everyone to see.“Latest info: Our B40 Korean food spot in Kuala Lumpur branch got raided by KKM and was immediately hit with a notice. Right after we placed our order, the guy slapped the closure notice sticker on the shop.
Netizens started sharing their own experiences and speculations about the eatery, with many expressing that they weren’t surprised by the news. “After I bought it, small cockroaches and insects started crawling out of the plate. I showed it to the cashier, and he swapped it for something else. While I noticed things moving around on the table, I couldn’t see where they were coming from.”“It’s usually because the place is dirty, possibly to close for a week for cleaning. A mall manager I know once told me that if a customer reports seeing cockroaches near the food, they’ll inspect the place the next day.
